I just love the early folk art dolls, especially the ones with oil painted faces. I have tried to give my dolly that same primitive, aged look. She appears to have been handed down and well loved by many a little girl for many a generation, don't ya think?. Her little pet pig was fun to make as well! They have become quite inseparable. Phew,,,, what a winter so far!!! Not only extreme cold and snow but alot of illness going around! I am just getting over a nasty cold myself. I sure hope all my dear dolly friends are faring better than I !!! Today I was feeling so much better and was even able to finish up a dolly I had put on hold til I felt up to it.
