lil' Milliner's Model

Barely fits in the palm of my hand! This replica of an antique Milliner's Model Doll would look so darling in a dollhouse or tucked in a cupboard don't you think?
I really like how her body turned out.... it is a complicated design so I wasn't sure I could pull it off at only 5 inches to work with!
on Ebay this evening (click here)

it on too much fun in the sun! I took a little break from doll making and boy have I missed it. So I stole a little time and created this little charmer.

After visiting Dixie's blog "Maida Today" regarding Maggie Bessie dolls I was inspired to try my hand at the tiny version shown there. If you'd like to learn more about Maggie Bessie dolls and much more, here is the link to her wonderful and oh so informative blog (click here)

My small 10" Maggie Bessie is being held by a special order doll. Does she look familiar? Yep, an almost identical twin to the drawn-face doll I have pictured below. She is waiting patiently to go to her new home, but in the meantime, has asked me nicely if she could play "mamma" to the little miss Maggie,,, awwww.

I just hope she doesn't get too attached because I'm hoping to get Maggie on ebay this Sunday!
UPDATE::: She is now on EBAY (Click here to visit if you'd like!)
Thanks for stopping by!!!!

which fit her just so!
Her face is needle-sculpted and done in artist's pencils.

An odd pair

Looks pleasant enough right? A nice little moment between Edward Tulane and the Queen???....... but if you look closely you will see that she is actually in the act of pick pocketing poor Ed's watch! I don't believe he minded much as he has become quite smitten with her... Luckily, I was there to put a stop to this crime in progress!
Both are waiting for new homes and you can visit them on Ebay if you click HERE

SOLD!!! To be notified when another Edward becomes available please Email me at: Papernan@msn.com

5¼" Queen Anne wooden doll

W ould you look at those sweet little slipper/shoes!!!!
No bigger than a flea bite!
Who doesn't love shoes? A lady can never have too many as far as I'm concerned!
I've made her a pair that would have been popular
in the 18th century. Hope she likes them!
She and her pretty little feet will be on ebay
this evening... Please click here to take a gander at!

Mona Lisa Doll

I was inspired by an early image of a young lady from the 1800's ... To me, she resembled "Mona Lisa" or what she may have looked like as a child. Her eyes are haunting and just seem to grab the viewer! How about you? Does she remind you of anyone?

I just love looking through old photos of people and the clothing they wore in much simpler times.
You can visit her here on EBAY

Young Queen Anne Doll

A more cherub-like, rounder cheeked Queen Anne.
She is actually a toddler but prefers to be treated
as a baby,,,
so I went with it,, all the way, and even dressed her in bonnet and
simple empire waist gown.
Growing up should never be rushed!! It will happen soon enough! Trust me!

Click here to visit her on Ebay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Message in a bottle! Alice's Adventure began without me!

W ell we arrived home safe and sound from our amazing trip to Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri!
( A big THANKYOU to all who left encouraging messages while away... You just don't know how much they meant to me!!!) I will share more about the trip and ceremony later.... it requires a whole post all to itself. I just want to wait til my soldier boy is not within hugging distance. He is my priority at the moment, and gladly! :-)

While away, we left poor Alice all on her lonesome and on our return, we found her holding a glass bottle with a handwritten note saying "drink me" . Hmmmmm, since it appears to be empty I can assume she did as told and well the rest is history (so to speak).
You can see her on Ebay Sunday Evening!
She'd love you to visit her there! to do so, Click Here
